three decades before the first panel

Founder Sibi Mathew's route to INOUTSPACE ran through town planning in Dubai, two decades of corporate interiors, and a simple conviction about how spaces should be built.

Every great space begins with a vision. For Sibi Mathew, that vision was shaped by more than three decades across engineering, architecture, interior design and workspace planning, on two sides of the Arabian Sea.

A civil engineer by training (B.Tech, Sri Krishna College of Engineering, Coimbatore, class of 1990), chartered engineer and interior designer, he began his international career in 1993 with Harland Bartholomew & Associates, on the team involved in the town planning of Dubai during one of the city's most transformative periods.

From there: Interics Design Consultant, Dubai, deepening the architectural and interiors practice. Then six years with Al Abbas Interior Environments, the regional dealer for Steelcase International, delivering corporate interiors, workplace strategy and furniture systems for some of the region's leading organisations. In 2002 he co-founded White Way Interiors in Abu Dhabi, executing premium interior projects until 2005.

INOUTSPACE was founded in 2006 with a simpler ambition than any of those projects: a design company rooted in quality, innovation and craftsmanship. Since then it has grown into a trusted name in interior design, custom furniture and handcrafted décor, combining international exposure with Indian craftsmanship.

Design should be beautiful, functional, sustainable, and built to last.

That philosophy is why the studio manufactures its own pieces rather than reselling: the console tables and the PESCE™ collection are designed, carved and finished in-house, the same way the projects are planned. Homes, offices, hospitality and commercial spaces, all built with the same attention, one piece at a time.
