Shefa, meaning abundance in Hebrew, is a faith-inspired artwork rooted in one of the most profound miracles of Jesus — the feeding of the five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fish. The original concept was created by Dr. Sandra Sunny for her new home in Kochi, and artist Sreeraj recreated the artwork in acrylic, translating its spiritual message into a contemporary visual form. At the heart of Shefa is a simple yet powerful truth: what is placed in God's hands can be multiplied beyond human expectation. The five loaves and two fish became enough to feed thousands, reminding us that God's provision is not limited by what we begin with. The painting speaks of abundance in both the physical and spiritual realms. Just as the loaves and fish were multiplied to nourish the multitude, God's Word, when received into the heart, carries life and has the power to grow, transform and multiply within us. The gentle composition of the hands offering the fish creates a visual expression of faith, surrender, provision and divine multiplication.
